Booking Conditions
1.0 Available Sessions
1.1 All sessions are packaged as a set of 10 single sessions corresponding to the length of a typical school term. Fees displayed on the booking page reflect the purchase of 1 session per week. Each session is timetabled as a regular, one hour time slot each week.
1.2 Where the school term has already commenced, the 10 session package is reduced by the number of weeks that have elapsed.
1.3 If it is known that the student will not be able to attend one or more sessions in the allocated time of the chosen package prior to the time of booking, the 10 session package will be reduced by the number of sessions that the student can not attend only if McMahon Education is informed at the time of booking. If a student is unable to attend a session after booking for the term is confirmed, other conditions apply (please see cancellation policy 3.0)
1.4 One single session is 60 minutes in length, and is the minimum length of time that can be booked for each week.
2.0 Fees
2.1 The base fee for an individual One-on-One session is $70 per hour; the base fee for an individual in a Small Group session is $40 per hour. These fees may be subject to change.
2.2 Sessions that are not classified as One-on-One or Small Group sessions will incur a separate base fee.
2.3 Fee payment is not required at the time of booking; an invoice will be issued by email after booking confirmation. Clients can be invoiced monthly, for all 10 sessions within the term package, or otherwise (for example in the case of conditions 1.2 and 1.3). Fee payments are due 28 days after the date of invoice issue.
2.4 Payment method is by bank transfer to the account specified on the invoice.
3.0 Cancellations
3.1 At least 24 hours notice is required for a session cancellation. If less than 24 hours notice is given, the student will not be eligible for a make-up session or refund.
3.2 If more than 24 hours notice is given for a cancelled session, several options are available. These include:
3.2.1 booking a make-up session that will be made available on a day outside of McMahon Education's regular session times and/or school term,
3.2.2 placing the student's name on a cancellation list should a session become available within McMahon Education's regular session times,
3.2.3 receiving a fee credit for the cancelled session in the next term's 10 session package booking (maximum of 2 sessions only), or
3.2.4 receiving a fee refund for the cancelled sessions (maximum 2 sessions only).
3.3 If a set of sessions is cancelled, for example in the case of the remaining set of sessions for a term, a full refund will be given for fees already paid, less one session in the case of less than 24 hours notice until the next booked session.
3.4 If it is known by prior planning that McMahon Education will be unavailable for a session or sessions prior to the term's commencement, the 10 session package will be reduced by the number of sessions for which McMahon Education is not available.
3.5 Should McMahon Education cancel a session with or without greater than 24 hours notice, a fee refund will be issued if the fees have already been paid. Alternatively, 3.2.1, 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 will also be available to the client.
